Welcome to ClawdMate. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our AI personal assistant service. By using ClawdMate, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ClawdMate:
- You agree to be bound by these Terms
- You agree to our Privacy Policy
- You represent that you are at least 18 years old
- You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use ClawdMate.
2. Description of Service
ClawdMate is an AI-powered personal assistant that:
- Connects to your Gmail account via OAuth
- Reads, sends, and manages emails on your behalf
- Processes your commands through AI
- Operates via Telegram messaging interface
ClawdMate is currently in beta. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued.
3. Account and Access
3.1 Account Creation
- You must provide accurate information when connecting your Gmail
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must not share your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
3.2 Gmail Authorization
- You grant ClawdMate permission to access your Gmail account
- You can revoke access at any time through Google Account settings
- ClawdMate will only access emails as necessary to fulfill your requests
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use ClawdMate to:
- Send spam, unsolicited emails, or phishing attempts
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
- Use the service for any illegal or unethical purpose
5. AI and Accuracy
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS:
- ClawdMate uses AI which may make errors or produce inaccurate information
- You are responsible for reviewing emails before they are sent
- ClawdMate is not a substitute for human judgment
- We are not liable for errors, omissions, or AI-generated content
- You should verify critical information independently
6. Privacy and Data
- Your use of ClawdMate is governed by our Privacy Policy
- We process your Gmail data only as authorized by you
- We do not sell your personal information
- We comply with Google's Limited Use Requirements
7. Intellectual Property
- ClawdMate and all related materials are owned by us or our licensors
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer our service
- You retain ownership of your emails and data
- You grant us a limited license to process your data to provide services
8. Fees and Payment
ClawdMate is currently free during beta. We reserve the right to:
- Introduce paid plans in the future
- Change pricing with 30 days notice
- Offer different tiers of service
9. Termination
9.1 By You
- You may stop using ClawdMate at any time
- Disconnect your Gmail through Google Account settings
- Request account deletion by emailing ops@clawdmate.com
9.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Your use threatens the security of our service
- Required by law
10. Disclaimers
ClawdMate is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.
We disclaim all warranties, including:
- Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
- Security of data transmission
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed $100 or the amount you paid us (if any)
- We are not liable for third-party actions (e.g., Google, Telegram, Groq)
- We are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or AI errors
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of ClawdMate
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
- Emails sent through ClawdMate on your behalf
13. Beta Service
ClawdMate is currently in beta testing. This means:
- The service may have bugs or errors
- Features may be added, changed, or removed
- Service may be interrupted without notice
- We may discontinue the service at any time
14. Third-Party Services
ClawdMate integrates with third-party services:
- Google (Gmail): Subject to Google's Terms of Service
- Telegram: Subject to Telegram's Terms of Service
- Groq: AI processing provider
We are not responsible for these third-party services.
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting updated Terms on our website
- Sending notice to your email
- Notification through the service
Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
16. Governing Law
